I don't remember which one either Tom. I see them occasionally in the field. I was wondering if you were still using the MP-E. Good shooting, were you aimed up toward the sky of is there something blue behind the web?

Makes sense, It's hard to get sky blue with the MP-E.. I've pulled it off a couple of times but the sky was very bright. No matter, garbage can blue looks very nice in these photos...

Fabulous web design for this pretty little silver spider. I would have stuck with the 'blue sky' story - so much more romantic that a garbage can. Cute little hopper too. I wish I could 'shadow' you for a lifetime.
