So, I tried to emphasize the lines in the scene. Calm winds gave me great reflections. What do you think?
Ship ahoy
dj Not sure whats going on so enlighten me before I comment. Is this more than one shot joined cos top left has what looks like a join line and top right has something going on at the top of the mast? Is it a composite made from one image?
Lost and confused my man. Does not help that download is not enabled.

The major impact is that that marina's gonna drain much faster than at incipient low tide!
Lines and angles abound, but the inherent realism of the site overcomes any hoped-for illusions.
An up-side-down level version might have been more interesting.
Better luck next time.

Sorry to be so late on answering. One picture, just threw the level off and this is what I stayed with. No reason really. Just the lines of the masts and reflections struck me....don't know how. Maybe just a glancing blow.
OK for the rest who took time to answer, I did wrong. I didn't print it to hang on the wall, just to hear what my wife already said. Guess I'll listen better to her and not waste y'alls time.
Hey, dj,
Don't get discouraged!
Truth-to-tell we all have a thick file labeled "T.I.T.W.D.A.*
*Things I Tried-Won't do Again"
(It's a valuable teaching / learning / continuing education file)

Slanted images usually only work if you have at least one perfectly vertical and/or horizontal dominant element within the composition. Here, you seem to have neither a vertical nor a horizontal element present; it's all diagonals. If this had been a purely abstract image, only diagonals would be fine. But as a real scene, it simply looks awkward with the total absence of a horizontal/vertical element.
I do like the colors, contrast and exposure. But I'm just not fond of your choice of slanting the scene.
DJ ... I'm not sure why, but I like it. I like the diagonals coming from opposing corners. I think it would be a fun pic to hang in a yacht or houseboat. It has great clarity, colour, and focus. It may not be for everyone, but I think you've been very creative.
Its tilted.
It looks tilted.
It doesn't improve the image.
The tile stitch or content aware fill are very clumsy.
