Does anyone think that it be worth it for me to sell my Nikon 24-120mm F4 ED lens and purchase the Sigma new 24-105mm F4 DG lens? I heard that it is supposed to be a better lens. Thanks!

I have the Sigma. I could have gotten the Nikon lens with my camera when I bought it and elected not to, but wait until I could find the Sigma. I'm thrilled with the Sigma.
One of the nice things about the Sigma Art lenses is they are highly customizable via the Sigma USB dock if you elect to get a dock.

Buy the Sigma and do your own comparison and then decide to return the Sigma or sell the Nikon. That way you know what you can answer your own question.
Unless you get 95% of respondents to say one or the other, your question will go answered.

I own a Nikon 24-120mm f/4 and it is on my D610 most of the time. I cannot comment on the Sigma alternative. Over the space of time, I would think the Nikon would hold it's value a little better. David Busch has has good things to say about the Nikon lens.

NO ....unless money is no object ! The Sigma seems marginally better by those in the know.
