3 Months Free Adobe Photoshop CC & Lightroom

I was in Walgreen's today and just happened to notice a half price sale on Sandisk 8 GB Ultra Class 10's for $14.95, and included was three months of Adobe Cloud Photoshop and Lightroom. Needless to say I snatched a card and I'm now using the programs.

Is that a bargain or what? Now I will be able to use the programs free for three months, and see if they are for me.

Sounds like a great bargain. I would say, "Go for it!" Normally you can get 1 months trial for free, after that it's $10.00 per month plus tax.

Make sure your get a book on lightroom. It's a great program but it does require some thought to set up. I recomment Lightroom by Scott Kelby. The copy I have is for Lightroom 5, and the current version is Lightroom 6. However, if you really read and study the first chapter first, and in detail, it will really make you life easier.

The subscription copy also has links to tutorial videos on Adobe's site. They are found under a sub menu called "Learn & Support"

since i'm an amateur, i'm not about to use a program that I don't own outright. i'm, not going to rent a editor or storage location.

I got the 32GB, class 10 card for about $24 at Wal-Mart. Declined the cloud offer.

;) :-D

Yep, me neither, but I want to see just exactly what the hubub was all about with Adobe Cloud. I'm sure I'll cancel after the free trial period. Photoshop Elements 12 does all I need to do.

I wouldn't know. I would not go into Walmart if they were giving them away. It's their predatory business model thingy for me, and a personal decision as to how they conduct business. Have fun, and shop, shop, shop til ya drop @ Walmart there my friend as that is entirely your decision as well!

I agree with you, but will point out a slight technicality. The program is not owned. You paid a one time payment that licenses you to use that program. Adobe still owns the program, the license allows you to use it.

Michael, I can proudly say, my shadow has never darkened the doorway of a Walmart.

If they were giving Nikon D800 or D810 cameras away, I'd pay a friend to get me one. At least one that shops there.

Yes, it certainly is my decision where I choose to shop. Thanks for pointing that out.
