Ancient Equipment Up for Grabs

I've been entrusted with an inventory of film cameras and lens from an elderly photographer looking to get whatever he might for his photo equipment. They probably have no value, except for that one collector or two who is hesitant to see the age of film fade into the sunset.

All items are spotless as to condition. Although not personally tested, I've been assured cameras and lenses are in workable order.

Should you have an interest in any of the items listed, please PM me and we can discuss further. Sensing that there will be little interest, I've not set up these items for either a group or individual photograph, but for interested parties, photos can be made available. Prices are merely guidelines from listings uncovered during my research to find some value of these historic items.

The Items:

Honeywell Pentax Spotmatic w/50MM1.4 Takalmar Lens and Leather Case. $90

Pentax P3 with Samyang 28-70MM F3.5 Auto Zoom $60
Additional Lens: Hanimax Telephoto 300MM 5.5 $20

Pentax ME Super with Toyo 75-200 4.5 Lens with Padded Canvas Camera Case. $40 Additional lenses for this camera: Ozunon MC Auto Zoom 35-75MM 3.5 $5.00 and Sun Lens Zoom 85-210MM 3.5 with Leather Case (no price found)

Lordomat with Leidolf Wetzlar 50MM 2.8 Lens and 90MM 4.5 Lens with leather pouch. $100

Ohnar Zoom Reverser $15.00

Vantage Auto-Flash with Instructions & carrying case $8.oo

What is the mount on the Hanimex 300mm?

The Hanimax has the screw-in mount as opposed to a bayonet mount.

If that is the M42 screw mount, then I would be interested in the 300mm lens.

I'm sure it is an M42, and that lens should be quite good. (Unlikely that an M39 [Leica] screw mount would be among Pentax gear).

Bloke, am just now getting your inquiry. I'm gonna pull out the lens and physically try it on the screw-on Pentax mount which should pretty much confirm the type of mount. Pardon my obvious ignorance of the mounts, but I'm a Nikonian and am treading in somewhat unfamiliar water. Back to you soon with an answer.

RWR, sorry for delay...yes I did get your e-mail regarding your answer as to the mount on the Hanimax 300MM Lens and appreciate your input. You were spot on correct. I just tried both lens with screw mount on the Honeywell Pentax and they were on and off smoothly and focused perfectly.

Was there another PM that I'm missing? Only received two. One confirming screw mount size, and a follow-up inquiring whether I got the first e-mail (which was about the screw mount).

Thanks for your input and accurate assessment!

Bloke, it appears that RWR was right on target as to the screw mount. I opened up the appropriate packages and tested both the Hanimex and the Sun Zoom and both went on and off as smooth as silk and both responded beautifully on the Pentax Honeywell Pentax Spotmatic.

Therefore, the Hanimex is indeed compatible with the Pentax Screw Mount.

If you'd like I can get a cost of shipping the Hani to you tomorrow morning when I get prices to ship the Pentax Spotmatic to another individual. Will ship in pre-packaged carton from USPS Priority Mail.

Can also have PayPal bill you direct once I get your OK to proceed with a total price.

Since I tried both screw in lens, you might also consider the SunLens. Not a name brand, to my knowledge, but operates beautifully. Both lens appear pristine.

Let me know what you want to do. Thanks for your interest.

Jim

Not trying to influence anyone, but I have 2 Sun lenses in Nikon mount, a 38~90 f/3.5 and an 80~240 f/4.0. They are very solidly built, focus and zoom smoothly, and are optically excellent. They are not lightweights!
