I purchased a Canon PowerShot SX60 earlier this year. I love it...but recently I am having trouble with the viewfinder. When I look thru the viewfinder everything looks out of focus. However, when I look at the LCD everything is good. What is going on?

Do you have the dioptre correction adjusted on the viewfinderfor your eyes?
After you've adjusted the diopter for your vision, press the shutter button halfway to focus on an object.
Yes, I know to push the shutter button 1/2 down...still out of focus.
There is a diopter adjustment that matches the EVF to your eye. Usually its a little wheel or slide next to the VF. Turn or slide it until the image in the VF is sharp. Your manual should help with it. Look in the index for "diopter"

Be sure to focus the diopter adjustment on the data displayed in the viewfinder, not on the image. Then try focusing on the image with the half press.
Not quite enough of a problem to make my list of reasons why I hate viewfinders.
I did try adjusting the diopter wheel but that did not help. Any more suggestions?
Many thanks!

Did you check to see if the eyepiece is clean? It can easily get fingerprints or smudges. If the eyepiece is clean and you adjusted the diopter the problem could be with the camera. Call Canon tech support. They may be able to help.
Yes, I did clean the EVF....guess I will call Canon.
Thanks
