Little Orphan Annie Sleeps

There are a great many feral and wild kitties around this place I recently moved to, and I've seen them through the harsh winter.
For those efforts, I have become a feline Mother Theresa of sorts... and three of the females have had their babies here.

Down the road, another Momma kitty lost her life trying to save one of her two kittens from drowning in a ditch to no avail. My brother heard this little one screaming and brought her to me in hopes one of the mommas already nursing their own, would nurse her.

The gray one I call Lil' Bit, rose to the occasion and Annie survived.
She is a 7 week old, spoiled rotten brat indoor kitty now :)

And if not for photographic proof, I'd swear she never sleeps!

Welcome back! Beautiful kitten and a very cute shot. Nice of you to help them! I'm sure they'd say thanks, but cats aren't known for their gratitude...

Hi Tilde.

I joined UHH around the time you took a leave of absence so I'm now in the process of 'discovering' you for the first time. I'm working my way back through your previous posts and enjoying them very much. I admire your honesty in your images and your candor in your comments. I look forward to seeing more of your work and thank you for sharing so much of yourself with us.

John

Thanks! Glad to be back :)

On a sad note however: Little Annie is declining rapidly since Sunday.
Hasn't eaten a single morsel and barely drinking. Has seen vet... will again tonight... but...

I fear the worst.

Hello and "nice to meet you", John :)
I'm not only honored by all this positive energy you've sent my way... but a bit flabbergasted, too. *blush*

It will be wonderful to peruse your work in kind and play catch up with other friends here on the site as well.

Warmest Regards,
T~
