Getting Photo Stuff Ready For Trips

Since I have Corel Paintshop Pro X7 on my big MSI G70 laptop, which is too large to go in my backpack for travel, I am loading Paintshop Pro X6 out of my storage files to my Surface Pro 3 for use on travel in July to Belgium, Netherlands, France and Germany and a Vietnam Reunion trip to Corydon, Indiana in late July and further travel in October to Martinique in the Carribean.

Then I won't have to wait until I'm home to process photos. This Surface Pro 3 is great with a USB Port. Otherwise I would have to carry my SONY VAIO laptop which is a bit larger.

PS: Vietnam visit again probably in 2016.

I just returned from an almost 2 week trip from Switzerland through Germany, France and Amsterdam. It was on Viking Riverboat Cruise. It was easier for me to take my pictures and process them when I got home because there was so much to do and see and photograph. The cruise had so much lined up for us to do as part of our package, there was not time to do photo processing while there. Besides, my camera equipment was heavy enough without having a computer to tow along as well. Had nearly 3800 pictures when I returned home and my best friend and I came home totally exhausted.

The reunion, however, would be a good idea for taking the computer and doing photo processing so you can share with your Vietnam buddies. Also a good way to get email addresses for each of those who would want to stay in touch and to be able to share your photos. My husband would have loved having that ability at his last Vietnam reunion years ago. He was in the USMC and flew Phantoms and Corsairs, as well as the mighty CH46 helicopters. As commanding officer, he brought all the CH46's out of Marvel Mountain when we left Vietnam.

Whatever you do, I hope you enjoy your trips ad get lots of photos of the places you visit and old friends. You will enjoy the trips.
