Another interesting series, Pat. Gotta love that big old bear. He goes where he wants when he wants and nobody dares to bother him.

I was a self contained, going in circles, mini fire drill trying to get a shot...
My wife spotted him in a small meadow.
Had to turn pickup around.
Got back to the meadow.
Reached for the lens case for the 100-400 lens and mounted the lens on the camera.
Go to the edge of the meadow.
Oh no! The 70- 200 was in the 100-400 case.
Had to go back to get the right lens.
Finally, get the correct lens on the camera.
Oh no! The bear has left the meadow....
Well, there was a picnic area on the other side of the
Got a couple of shots.
Oh! The bear is headed for the road!
So, I walked up the road a short distance and the bear crossed the road.
Got my shot!!!
Whew!!!......

Nice set Pat. That is a beautiful area. When I lived in California back in the 60s and 70s I was a frequent visitor and would often cam out and fish the streams in the adjacent Sequoia National Forest.
