I'm just curious green did you find that article insightful?
Well, since Jeezus is coming soon why worry...I mean it's been 2000 years we're due for another visit from Jeezus.

yes, mildly inciteable
I believe in God, but I also believe in science...and when people get them confused it is often humorous and sometimes annoying.

I think most Christians believe in science. Where we part company is in the assumptions made as a result of that same science. What science is saying to the atheist is quite different than what science is saying to the Christian and thats what irritates the atheist. Atheists get upset when Christians view the science from a different perspective and come away with a different conclusion. It really pisses some of them off.

I think atheists get most irritated when the Christian "assumptions" are used for developing public policy.

 Science is knowledge. It doesn't mean anti-God.

And the same thing can be said in reverse.

I don't think it is exactly reciprocal... Christians assume that they know how the world was created and why we are here... atheist don't know, but know they don't know.

If they don't know then they can't tell me I'm wrong but they will anyway. They admit they don't know but teach our children that Darwinian evolution is fact even knowing that it isn't. They don't want any opposing views on the subject even brought to the discussion let alone taught. How about we teach both or neither one or at least teach our children the truth which is in fact that we don't know. Ask the average college student today and they'll tell you that evolution is fact, hell man just read a few posts here and you'll see the same thing.

Pepper, I'm sorry you had an inadequate science teacher. Science is not facts, science is our best consensual guess as to how the physical world works... science is also an interconnected network of disciplines, like a chain-link fence, you cannot just pick and choose which links... if even one link is found to be incorrect, the entire structure falls apart.
The reason that evolutionary theory is taught in schools, is that true or not, it is a useful paradigm for developing new antibiotics, medicines and therapies. But in no way does science intrude into the realms of spiritualism... these are the domain of personal experience and faith, and do not yield to the scientific process.

What? You do have your own way of comprehending the language don't you green. Nothing wrong with my science teacher. College professors on the other hand are mostly arrogant assholes teaching opinion and assumption as though it were fact....and so it goes.

doesn't everyone? I would agree with you about college professors, at least in the liberal arts.
My point is that evolutionary theory has worked for us, it has yielded technological breakthroughs in most every field of biology... what technology has creation science developed? fast fossils?

I warned you, but like the typical Leftist, you don't learn.
What you called "crap" was liberal bile, something you specialize in.
When you can't add anything intelligent, you derail and act childish and ignorant - things in which you excel.
This message will repeat until you stop your ignorant, hateful, derailing and acting stupid. Got it?
