I have been practicing my photography and the PP in GIMP. Any critique is more than welcome. I use a cheap Fujifilm S9250. I am working on mama to allow to get a Nikon S5200, so I will be dangerous.
Thanks Hoggs.

Very nice!! You did a nice job with what you have to work with!! Ours here in Ohio haven't even started to bloom and the flowers don't look this pretty.
Now a tip for you!:):) Go out and take some really bad shots and show her!!:):) Maybe even get her in a few of them that are not in focus.:):)

Beautiful!! I agree with Erv....if you show her theses, she say 'what's wrong with this camera?" :-)
These flowers look downright 3-dimensional, which is a huge compliment as far as I am concerned. If GIMP does this, I've got to look into it deeper.
I taught myself on GIMP. The sharpening feature is fantastic and there are a ton of features. I also use Elements, but GIMP is WAY better. The best feature of all........ it is FREE.
Fellers that is a Nikon D5200. Got a little excited there.
Really nice. Your Rose of Sharon are doing much better than mine so far this summer.
