My Mini Cooper is bigger and I believe more dependable.
My daughter wanted one, so I looked at some reviews.
I wasn't to impressed.
You may want to look at the civic, Versa, or Yaris.
Comment? If have knowledge?
LIME
Thank you. Just been thinking for around town use.

I have the larger Sonic, it gets better mileage and has a LOT more power too. The Spark is made in Korea and imported for Chevy, very anemic in the power band. I looked at it as it was $2000 cheaper than the Sonic, but resale value is abyssmal.

My daughter has one and likes it. Economical and fun to drive. She said it handled good in the snow.
You might have a look at the Mazda2.
Look at Hyundai they have a great warranty and are very reliable. Also, they are within the price range you are looking at.
The HONDA Fit is such a superior car, Check it out
Corvette C7!!!! Will create many "sparks!!!"
And most likely made in Mexico, like the Fusion I considered buying. The Mexican auto maker earns $26.00 a day, so the Fiesta should really be inexpensive. I checked the site and the Lexus IS350 was listed as a small car, Why?
If you Don't want to spend a lot of money they are fun cars most suited to town driving any of the other cars mentioned are probably superior for longer journeys, and probably cost more.
Looks like a chevy with the trunk sawed off.
