It's a very exotic question. But I found an old stock of this B&W film for C41 process and I am wondering if anybody developed it with B&W developer ( I am using Ilford's Perceptol). :?: :?: :?:

It is doable but you will need to do a lot of testing for the correct development time. C41 films are standardized for the same development time but that time will not be the same for perceptol.

APUG.org will yield more info than here.

As I said, I have a bunch of this b&W film and as I use to process b&w myself, I am wondering whether those films can be processed with b&w chemicals...

Have you ever looked at the Caffenol Process... Folgers Instant Coffee, Vitamin C and Washing Soda (NOT baking soda)

It's cheap and fun and the results are excellent. Tons of info on the internet...Google "caffenol".

You can even process film enlargements using the process.

Tip: Washing Soda is difficult to find, but it's often sold by Swimming Pool supply establishments.

It's surprising, as most people automatically think "sepia", but results are wide ranging with real blacks and whites possible, along with tonal gradations.
