Welcome to Day 81 :) I had a second request to do the alphabet ... but I can't for the life of me figure out a way to make that challenging ... So that is going to have to wait a bit.
In the meantime .... LOL ... let's take a look at Contrasting Colors. I'm sure most of you are familiar with the color wheel (but just in case.. I'll post it) Colors that are opposite each other on the color wheel are considered high contrasting colors. Sometimes contrasts make a unique photograph. Such as black and white ... total opposites but awesome together. Red and green ... again total opposites but who doesn't love those colors together at christmas time. So photograph anything you like... try to look for background colors that really make your subject stand out.
Here are a few examples to get us started.
Yesterday was a bummer, high rivers all around here. Could have takeen 200 shots easily at different places.
Here's a ''today try''
Nowhere is my story. These were taken on one of the Magdelan Islands, Québec's best kept secret, and houses of various colours are predominant, adnot just one colour, but sometimes more than two. What I had once read about this is that here in the Islands and also in Newfoundland, all houses were whitewashed, once a year. Then someone showed up with coloured paint and these people were colour hungry as for decades they never had any. This is true too. Since then colours have become the icon oft he these places and also clotheslines, and believe me they have long ones out there!
Beautiful florals SHERRIE..
in regards to the alphabet..why not just pic a letter and shoot it...like
a..apple ardvark annette
b..balls, barbecue, benches
ect.....
dont sweat thinking on it...make it easy if you feel like accepting the request. Or maybe pick the first letter of their name me N, and go from there...????
cool colors RR
Im going to look for a pic I have of curcao...a whole row of dif color row homes....might have been days of film...

RR..another great story and the colors are so neat!
Beautiful color contrasts so early in the morning! Great job!!!
PG57, Awesome looking flowers! My favorites are the ones with the ice/dew droplets on them.
RR, love the colorful houses, does the FATIMA I.M house come in purple? Just love the interior.
Today I am going back to the conservatory to inhale the fragrances and stand in awe of the beauty of GOD's creation.
Been some what depressed since my fall. I am still having issues with the lower back. The conservatory and all the beauty she has to offer generally helps in the healing of the mind as well.
Will have pictures to post later.
Hope everybody has a fantabulous Day!!!
