Well, it's been talked about.....and now my friends who are in the loop tell me that CS6 will be announced this Saturday, March 24th.

I suppose I had better get my Amex card out.......I fall for all the new stuff, like daddy used to say, "fool and money will soon part."

Will you upgrade!

I have had this critter for months, was wondering when it would be announced.

And what's you take on it?
Small improvement or a major game-changer?
...or a just another money-maker for Adobe?
(I'm happy with CS5, but I get a big educational discount.)

I'm happy with CS5 and have no plans to upgrade at this time, I haven't even figured out 1/2 the stuff CS5 does either. (DH already told me I have to have a job before I even think of purchasing it anythow).

I did not play enough with it to draw a conclusion.
It seems faster, more choices in the menus, some weird things I had not seen before, video mode, audio mode...

I will absolutely upgrade.
CS6 has a new content aware feature where you can just move a person or object from one spot to another and it fills in the other spot perfectly ....
Can't wait !!

Thanks,
Like MWAC, I don't use all the features, but am getting into video stuff now so will check that out. My brain needs a memory upgrade more than anything.

Well, since it's free, I'll definitely upgrade.

(I'm just spending my heirs' inheritance.)

It's going to be a tough choice. I think what's coming out now will be the public beta and not the final version. May be able to try this out for free. With Adobe's new upgrade policy, the choice will be do we want to upgrade every new version for around 200.00, or skip a version and then have to pay full price the next time we upgrade. I may up grade this time, but no more in the future.

I will upgrade sometime before CS7 shows up. Only upgraded from CS3 to CS5 several months ago, but with Adobe's new upgrade policy I will be forced to upgrade to CS6.

Have no idea what will be offered in the new cs6. If it will help me then yes.
