"Mealybug" Lady beetle (Cryptolaemus montrouzieri) is endemic to Queensland and New South Wales, Australia. Unlike many of the often brightly coloured Coccinellidae, adults are predominantly brown with no spots. It has been used as a biological control agent against Mealybugs and other Scale insects. As a larva, it looks like the mealybugs they prey on, a case of aggressive mimicry.

having gone through this when i shot my first mealy bug on the same leaf as a mealy bug predator and tried to reason out what was going on i just had to post my comment.
I can go back to those images and still not be sure which was which until I used masking tape to remove the hair from both.
That is one strange looking hopper. All three are first-rate

thanks everyone! that hopper was the size of an aphid,i did not know it was a hopper until i got it in focus at 2:1 mag.
