Hi, I have been around for a couple of years but did not know how to post so I coud not introduce myself untill now.

Like I said I have been around for a couple of years, but did look on how to post until now, so I could not introduce myself or say hi or anything. But today I saw a posting about a repair quote from Nikon USA that got me to the point where I looked on how to post. Well I kind of like taking pictures since I was 5 and I am now going on 61 through out that time I have owned many cameras my very first was a Kodak at 5 and the second, I kept them for the longest until I was 15 I got a Polaroid at 13 or 14, but I got me a Leica at 15 to take to a tour around the world that visited 27 countries. I wished I would have really known what I had, I would probably still have. A couple or few years later I went to Canon A-1, that was a great camera, but back then I really wanted a Nikon. Not much later I switch to Nikon and have stayed faithful to them. Of course that I have a GoPro since I am an adrenaline junkie and love extreme sports. So there is where the GoPro comes in handy. I guess me next toy would be a drone, so I can get into aerial photography. Well let me go for now I think that I have said to much for a brief introduction. By the way I go by Lem.

I am in strong agreement with you. I received and 'introduce yourself' link when I first register in, However, I did not complete it at that time. Now, I am not able to find that link again. I think that, This is a wonderful sight.
I am very happy that I found this site. I think that it is perfect for aspiring photographers. Unfortunately, navigation leaves a lot to be desired.
Please forgive me if this sounds like I'm being critical. I am by no means being critical. I know that we all can help to improve the side. And if by any means, I can help to improve the site. I will.
