On May 3 I had the opportunity to go on a special photographers ride on the Texas State Railroad in East Texas between Palestine & Rusk. Three different locations from Palestine to Rusk and three other locations on the return trip, they stop the train, let the photographers off, then back the train up out of sight and run it by us so we can photograph it going down the track. What an amazing experience for a lover of trains. I'll do this again next year when they offer it again. Of course, this is only a small sampling, but hope Y'all like them.
A great series! Trains, planes & automobiles are among my favorite subjects. Good job!

Good set Irvingite, with all that contrasting steam there's some great tones for a mono in No.1?

I've always wanted to see if someone could catch one of these puppies using a motion blur.

I love this little train! We have ridden it several times but never this trip you are talking about... Have to check that out! They also do a polar express for kids during Christmas!
