*** SOLD *** I have a Nikon D700 which I believe is in excellent condition. This camera is in very good functional and physical condition. The camera is very clean with no visible scratches anywhere. The camera has a 17,172 shutter count. Included is a battery charger and three batteries and a as well as David Busch's book " Nikon D700".

I'm selling this only because I'm trying to roust up the cash for a new Df. I'd like to get $900 for it. If you buy it and you're not completely happy with it simply send it back and I'll refund your money.

Thank you,

Lille

Note. B&H sells a similar camera with their warranty for $1000 - was in their store 2 days ago.

This is a very good price for a well taken care of camera. Jump on it if you can!

I have to agree. Here's an obituary from 2012 which pretty well lays out why a 12 MP full frame with 7 year old technology still goes for over $1K.

I have a D800, and D7000 in addition to a D700. Often I find I grab the 700 favoring it for some work over the other two. I think the noise suppression is better on the 700 than on the 800 or 7000. When I do portraits I like the 700 because it does all I need it to for that kind of work. I use the 800 more for inanimate objects where fine detail is needed and when I anticipate needing to crop a lot. I use the 7000 coupled with a 28-300 Nikon lens to take advantage of the crop factor giving me a 450 equivalent lens. I have thought of giving up the 700 in favor of getting a 750, but it is one hard camera to give up!
