Personally, I find nothing of interest in this photo. Maybe if this had been a close up or macro of the eggs then something there, but as it is, the bowl distracts and the eggs are just "there." I'm not much on critiques, but I think a close up would have been a better shot, something that let you see the egg(s) close up.
There is an old adage that of first importence to any photo is an interesting subject. Having said that - to you this may well be of interest but to show to others I would suggest you need to set the stage, zero in on a focal point, and avoid destractions to the extent you can. A picture should tell a story or stir the emotions. If some one else would have taken this and shown to you, what would you think of it?

You have a nice documentry photo. If you want a work of art, you need to do less background and do something to focus on the pot of eggs. (Not that I did a good job) This is just a suggestion. I know that many of the people that use this forum do much better work and could show you better examples. This is just the observation of a snap shot shooter!
