Welcome to Day 80 :) Tomorrow is the first day of spring .. on paper at least ... and what better time is there than spring to start decorating the area that you see most.
Spring is garden season for a lot of people. So today let's take a look at the decorations of the season. Yard art. Things that really serve no purpose other than to look at.
Here are a few examples to get us started.
Well, since any yard art, other than snowmen here, is covered with 12 feet of snow....I guess I wont submit anything in this category today....in fact no one even has snowmen...snow is too deep...lol....anyway....maybe Ill have to submit something off subject today....do moose qualify as "yard art" ???
photogrl, great pictures, but love 2nd and 3rd.
Im so confused...posted screech the breaks on wrong page...now Im thinking today is the first day of spring.
The good news is I LOVE YARD ART and dont have to go far to shoot at it....Ive shown you some already but here is the beginning of this years wall garden...just getting started now...even though it is going to be 70 today i have to remember that it is still MARCH...
If I add to it today....ill show you later. I have some plants that need to come down from upstairs.
Sherrie...i like your corner shot with the pot and also the natural bird bath....sweet.

I'm with you, MissSteph - not sure I have "yard art". Won't likely have time to shoot today. Will take quick look at archives.

You have a groovy day too! Happy to see you back on ;-) p1
The turtle was a gift from Boerner Gardens for volunteer work I did there. Boerner was developed by Roosevelts CCC program so the turtles at the gardens were falling apart. The Friends of the gardens had new turtles made and I received one for my work there. He/she guards my front door.
Patio Pergola-Storm was coming up just at sunset summer 2011
Turtle sets by my front step and in front of Bellaroma Rose HT
White arbors with Ramblin Red climber
Bench facing rose garden
This is it for me, unless I happen to find something later.
Hitching post in our front yard
Last summer - a friend's wooden shoes
Art in the flower box
Dashboard of the ModelT that has sat in our "yard" for decades - guess I have to consider it "art" now!
