Hi will Olympus four thirds lenses from E410 work with the later model e620.? I have been offered the e620 and like it because of the flippable LCD?

They should, they are both 4/3 cameras.

I have a 510 and have been studying 4/3 micro 4/3 environment lately.

They will, I have an e520 and e5 and a bunch of 4/3rd lenses and they are all work just fine. The e620 was an upgrade from the e520.

Thanks - great news - I will go ahead with the purchase. It seems people hang on to these 4/3rds lenses as Ebay lists so many "body only" ads! Thanks again

I use a four thirds 50-200 mm zoom on my micro four thirds Olympus E-M1. It requires an adapter (Olympus MM3) since the 4/3 lens mount is a little larger than the m4/3 mount but the E-M1 uses both phase detection and contrast detection auto focus modes as appopriate for the lens so it works fine. However, I'm looking forward to the promised release by Olympus of a prime 300 mm f/4 micro four thirds lens this year which I expect will have a little faster autofocus and a bit more sharpness. I have found that the less expensive 70-300 mm type micro four thirds lenses from Olympus and Panasonic just aren't sharp enough for small bird photography so that's why I went with the Oly 50-200 four thirds lens ... for the time being.

All 4/3 lenses work on all 4/3 cameras. The 620 is a considerably better camera than the 410 was, and you'll enjoy it with the lenses you know own. Has same size sensor though, so you'll still have some issues with noise, which you are already familiar with I'm sure.

If you ever move to an m4/3 camera you can use those same lenses with an adapter and maintain the auto functions.

Used to shoot with a 620. Loved it with the pancake lens 25mm f2.8.

I've noticed that. The one exception seems to be the Olympus E-5. I have a Lumix L1, an Oly E-3, and would like to get an E-5 but not many pop up for sale and the prices seem to be out of line for an "obsolete" camera. My Lumix Leica 4/3 lenses are terrific and I can use them on an M-1 but they are a bit unbalanced when mounted on that body.

KEH has one for $700 in excellent condition. Original price was $ 1700 if I recall. KEH's rating of "excellent" usually means it is better than that from what I've seen dealing with them. I love my E5 and have been procrastinating
upgrading to the OMD 1. The E5 does all you need.

Ok tell me if I'm wrong but there was a new OMD camera lens I wanted to get for use with my E5 but found out on different web sites like B&H + OLY's own site that newer lenses for the mirrorles new cameras can not be used on E5 and older cameras but older lenses can be used on newer mirrorless with an addapter.

True. You can use old 4/3 lenses on new mirrorless cameras but you cannot use the new mirrorless lenses with the old 4/3 cameras.
