Interesting shots. Like the first one bedt...kiwi?
Yes. I somehow didn't get the titles to come out.(go figure). Kiwi, gumbo and strawberry. thanks for looking.
Interesting subjects and arrangement..it looks like you have a focus issue.
most likely. I enjoy the macro lens but struggle getting the whole view sharp.
The last one looks like an embryo. Cool shots!

What macro lens are you using?
I ask because nothing in any of the shots is sharp...it's not a depth of field issue...but it appears to be a mis-focus issue.
It looks like you used f/5.6 at a 4 second shutter speed.
I'm pretty sure that f/5.6 is not small enough for macro work generally.
Did you use a tripod on this?
Floyd
Loc: Misplaced Texan in Florence, Alabama
Gumbo-better known in the South as Okra!
Thanks for your help and interest. I always use a tripod. the lens is a Promaster. the camera is a Canon 50D. Could it be a problem to use a noncanon lens on a canon camera?
What aperture would be more helpful for detail and to get more of the planes in focus?
I've got my eye on you . . .

Just a tip..hit the "quote reply" button so we know who you're answering :)
No...no problem using 3rd party lenses though I've never heard of a promaster...that could be just me.
Have you taken good sharp images with this promaster before?
Also, on close up stuff...the smallest f/stop you have is a good thing f/22 or similar.
Edited to add:I just checked out the Promaster 100mm macro. It appears to be a very sharp lens; good reviews so you should have no problems.
Take a few more and see how it goes...
I appreciate what you say. I always want to improve and don't want to ever stop learning. I will keep trying. thank you.And "food" is usually always available even if its raingy or the sun is too bright.
