How about "unsharp mask?"

No, it really is (or was). In the days of film, you made a film mask that was very slightly less sharp than the image itself, hence, genuinely, 'unsharp mask'.

R.

How about Dietoxymorons: One who can't spell and
dreams of not being a shooter, but a Artist.

Do that and nobody will care if you can't spell.

How about the unsharpen filter/mask?
I still do not understand the logic of "unsharpen" in the digital photography world! 90% of digital photographers never printed from film, so have NO reference to an "unsharpen mask". Excellent example of an oxymoron.

So then is an Occidental's oxymoron and alliteration? Or does it just seem that way?

Double entendres means two different definitions, one usually of sexual implication.

Oxymoron means a combination of words that contrast or conflict with each other. The examples given: "Speedlight moon photography" & "Macro moon photography" are correct.

Common oxymorons are phrases like "military intelligence" and "with all due respect".

I am not understansing the BS; not from you Nikonian, but this thread in general from the beginning. color me puzzled....if I wished to engage in esoteric shit I would go to where I do that.

Flashing the moon. (Using flash for moon pictures, what were you thinking?)
Do you have others to contribute to this thread? Lets have some laughs together.

Dude, WTF, if you want laughs, look in the mirror.

Or shoot the bird. that is a trip-entendre but not an oxymoron. It does prove that you can have an entendre without sexual implication, but why would you want that?
