Lovely bird,and everyone so far is saying how sharp it is,now it may be my monitor,but it looks a little soft to me,,,, regards ringo

Thanks Bob. I do try to focus on the eyes. I also just learned to set a "high" shutter speed for birds. They always move, twitch or make so other tiny move that throws focus off .

You know what Ringo...it seems a bit soft to me too. I don't remember if I had a 1.4 TC on the lens; but I couldn't get it sharper in PP.

That certainly could be the problem,with that attitude I'm sure your next photo will be razor sharp,good luck......regards ringo
