Well, I've been away from the HOG for awhile and was unaware until a friend clued me into the new section called the Attic. Out of the sort of morbid curiosity one sees daily while passing a wreck on the freeway, I just had to look and see for myself what sort of mayhem there was to see. All I can say is that it's like I haven't been gone at all. The same liberals casting aspersions with the same sophomoric name calling they were using when last I wasted my time here, and unfortunately many of the conservatives are not living up to the bible... "Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him." —Proverbs 26:4 (King James version) or the more updated version... "Don’t argue with idiots because they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience." —Greg King.

Folks, many of you are sinking to their level and they are way more experienced at slinging mud. Remember when you wrestle with a pig you both end up covered in the mud.

Oh I'm not leaving Hedgehog, just commenting on the fact that I was tired of the silly arguments chit-chat and noting the silliness that they come up with a section like the Attic because some were too dim to understand that "Non-Photography Topics" was for just that. Countless times folks would comment on a thread there and say "What has this got to do with photography" obviously like the population in general people seem to need someone to take care of them because if they don't like what they read they have to complain. I tired of what I was reading, but I didn't cry to the Admin and seek to stifle the conversations, or have them censored, I simply stated my opinion and then excused myself. Though I do at times still seem to get sucked in. That's my problem, NOT the admin's or the others who are enjoying the debates. But then I'm a Libertarian who believes that as long as you are not harming someone else or their property, then you're free to enjoy yourself in any way you please. If I disagree with you, then I have the same right to disagree with you as you had to state your opinion.

Oh and Ruthiel, this was a general expansion to my OP, nothing to do you you or your post other than about the first couple lines, so please don't take it that way. It just triggered a stream of consciousness response. :-)
