Time to charge the batteries

I was going to keep a low profile for awhile in MN. Didn't want to get back into the world of free event photography.

But all I've done lately is take pictures of myself. As pretty as I am, it eventually gets old.

So I half jokingly asked the wife to bring up the idea of a group photoshoot to her new girlfriends. Half jokingly because I wasn't sure how she would respond to me asking to spend a couple of hours shooting her very attractive new friends.
She was fine with the idea and so were they. They even plan to all wear the same color that day.

Perhaps I can even get them to star in one of my composites.

I'll post something before Monday.

Yes, good luck...this could go wrong in so many ways on so many levels!

This can only get interesting. However, the many directions it could take to get there are equally interesting.

Well it's done and I'll be posting a couple of images shortly.

Not everything went as I'd planned. I wanted to make it easy for myself while ensuring repeatable results. For me, that means a clamshell setup on a plain wall.
The house had no free space on any wall--limited space for shooting.
We ended up using a corner with a recliner. I had to do a lot of cloning during PP.

I average around 300 images for something like this, but I ended up shooting for less than an hour before they rushed out to have fun.

Bottom line is they liked the images and one of the women asked me if I'd shoot her in a better setting.

I've been trying to post the pictures since this morning. Let's give it one more try.

I'm having a display issue so I am not sure about my the colors.

Colors are pretty bland, need contrast. Did you convert to sRGB before posting? Works better for using the internet...

Actually it's the instagram addict it me that cause me to apply a fade to images. I post versions with more contrast later.
