Eight hour train ride on the McKinley Explorer to Denali National Park from Anchorage.
I know many of these are similar, but I can't choose which ones are the best between them.
Oh!, no problem....................
SHOWTHEMALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My personal preference would be number two and/or number four. I would open up the shadows in camera raw and hold back the highlights a touch.
thanks to both of you, and I am sending more, and will continue doing so for quite some time now. You will probably regret saying "SHOWTHEMALL" :)

Lisha,
(I hope I got the name right.) When I commented about opening up the shadows and holding back the highlights in camera raw, here are three "after" samples from your jpgs.

Alaska is such a WONDERFUL place! Can't see too many of that state...
If you would, please check the 'store original' before downloading, so everyone can enjoy a better view of your pictures.
If you do photo editing, you can improve the clairity and color of your photos to better represent what you saw. I am still editing a year later, the thousands I took there. I too dreamed for years of that spectacular, awesome trip. Glad you enjoyed it and took lots of picts!
Thank you for showing more... Always a treat for a former Alaskan to see home again.
nice pics on my bucket list to see
You did get the name right, however, I confuse everyone by using my daughter's name in my username. :) And thank you for showing me what you mean, and I can definitely appreciate what you mean, and really like it. Now I am struggling between your version or my darker, richer version; previously I, obviously, preferred the darker, richer versions. So keep commenting and you may convert me yet.
OH, awesome. Where exactly are you from? And why on earth did you leave? And where have you transplanted yourself?
Thank you so much. And it definitely is a must for all bucket lists!
What do you mean "store original before downloading" I will be happy to. I won't post anymore until I figure out how to do so. Thank you for telling me a piece of obviously imperative information.
I just compared the one you touched up with the train in the photo, and found I really like the one you improved upon much, much better. Thank you. :) Actually, I have just compared them all now and have found the same with all three.
You are bringing back great memories we have of our trip. When you browse and find your photo to upload, just to the right is a little box that you click that will store your larger version of the photo so folks can download it and see more detail. In your editing software, you should save a copy of your finished photo at probably less than full resolution. For example, in Lightroom I export one version to a subfolder for web photos. I've found that downsizing it to about 1200-1500 pixels wide is a good size. A full-sized version can be a little much for viewers to download and will take extra time to upload too.
