Wow! I didn't realize that Picasso had secretly rebuilt London! Your images uncovered a surrealistic aspect of modern Britain that I never suspected.

Thank you, Richard!

I really love all of these but I must say the one of the Baptismal Font drew my attention the longest. The wonderful reflections in the water played some real tricks on my eyes. Once I sorted it all out I realized just what a terrific image you had there.

Thanks! Here's another of the font from a different angle

The baptismal photo is incredible. I love the two tourist groups at the front. I love the detail that one can see, including the words around the baptismal. The only thing that confused me, at first, were the statues on the sarcophagi. I think that parts are overexposed, and if there were more shadows, one could more clearly see that they are statues?

I've tried to underexpose the sarcophagi in this version:

The cathedral photo is gorgeous, especially in its detail. That's why I would suggest, if you don't mind, to pp over the topiaries that are covered. For me, they are distracting, and somehow cloning other green bushes there would make the picture picture-perfect.

Thanks! Here is a version with the trees 'camoflaged'

Here are a couple more. I really love the symmetry of the gothic architecture. If you have a chance to climb the tower as Salisbury, it's definitely worth it. Also one of the gardens at Hampton Court palace, a great place to learn all about Henry VIII.

All the photographs were taken using a new D7200 with a Sigma 17-50mm 2.8 lens. I'm very impressed with the low light performance of the D7200, especially in the not-well-lit cathedral.

Beautiful images. The three cathedral photos are quite stunning. The addition of your follow-up photos are all impressive.

I'd like to know where you found a relaxing day in London. Rarely go back there now, though I was all over it a a kid.
Salisbury and Arundel more my Cup of Tea these days.

I like it better. What do you think? Some people would say, "That's the way it was and I shot it the way it was." I myself don't mind "improvements" with pp. Granted, "improvements" are in the eye of the beholder.

The one on the right is a big improvement. I guess the light for the one on the left is difficult to work with. And there's that big marble piece that you certainly don't want to remove. At least, we can the hands more clearly. Thanks for taking my comments so seriously.

Wow! I love this angle!!! Much more modern and arty! The reflections are so clear that we really have to re-orient ourselves by looking at the chairs and the sign. While the other photo was impressive, this is clearly a WOW! photo for me.
