The duck is about 1/3 larger that any of the other ducks around, did detect a slight green irridescence toward the ends of the wings. Other ducks commonly around here are mallards, coots, pied-bill grebes, and woodducks.. Looked in Peterson's Western Field Guide and still don't have a clue. Any birder photographers out there able to help. Thank you
All I can say is the the duck knows who his/her mother is but not sure who the father is. LOL....Rich
