These are great Teri! I love the white flower! Red is probably the hardest color to photograph! What you might try...it just came to me and I have not tried it...But...try changing the w/b and take several pics with different w/b settings and see what you come up with...just a thought. Also try changing the -/+..probably -1 or 2 stops ... Perhaps someone else can give us an idea of how to get the reds right!
Thanks Clicker...and -- thanks for the suggestion. always good to get another tip...

Early mornings are not really my time of the day, but I have had occasion to be up when the sun came up.
Very nice Taffie... Montana does have nice sunrises and sunsets.
Page 8 already and there have been some really great and varied posts so far. Here are a few of mine. Don't often get outside in the earliest morning. But I think these qualify. The sunrise you have already seen but the primroses were that same morning at 6am and the others were between 6-8am on various days.

We have a river that runs through our community and two bridges : a railroad bridge and a highway bridge. Along the river are a couple of observation decks built to give good views of the river. This morning when I got up early ( 5:30 a.m) I headed for the river. I had to wait a bit for the sunrise and it turned out to be a strong, bright sun. At the river I saw Eagles, Osprey, ducks and a Kingfisher. First the bridges: the railroad bridge and secondly the highway bridge.
After the bridges a few river views. I also found some deer.
railroad bridge
highway bridge
highwaybridge again

Love the hay bales and and all the rest!
Wonderful challenge and your examples are perfect! Our annual vacation has been a Holland America Caribbean cruise for the last 5 years. One of my favorite things to do is checking out the sunrise each morning from our verandah. Here are a couple from this year in late March.
