Antique Truck Show #9 - 1937 White - Yellowstone Tour Bus #427

The Whites were a standardized tour bus in many national parks, among the major ones only Yosemite didn't get them in the late 30's. Some are apparently being restored to continue service. Plus a few in the hands of collectors.

I noticed that my posting at 1 AM or so led to me miss numbering the posts, so I did a little counting and corrected the number for this post.

When I checked my shots I noticed reflections that made it look like passengers were in the bus so I processed (by trial and error) to make them clearer. So here we have: The Ghosts of Yellowstone

Wow what a cool bus! The reflections are just wonderful! I like the guy in the back... He even looks like a tourist looking out!

I didn't even notice the reflections when I took the shot I was in a hurry to avoid them walking up to get a closer look. When I was processing and added some clarity, there they were, so I tweaked a few sliders and they became clear.

They do, and they researched it. Behind the bus they had two displays of the history of this model bus in the parks and even a map showing the routes in Yellowstone.
