I used a filter call Oil Paint in Photo Shop. Do you think they are to busy?

Not sure what you mean by "busy". The colors are beautiful and in DL I can see a very soft "flow" to the petals. I like my photos to look exactly like what I am shooting so probably not a good one to respond to your question.

Great color and energy! Love the effect for a feeling of energy, happiness, warm summer.

Compositionally, I prefer #1. In #2 you have two flowers almost exactly same size and positioned evenly in the frame, so for me they compete for attention as to which is the subject.

I've used that filter, but I'll admit normally I used it when the focus wasn't dead on but I like the image anyway. It sort of made it acceptable.

I like it on some images and not on others. This is the type of image where it tends to work quite well.

Thank you for that input. I will keep that in mind when shooting, hadn't really noticed until you brought that up. Thank you

Thank you, by using this filter I think it helps show that there was a slight breeze.

Looks nice to me. Where did you get the filter?

Thank you. I'm using PS CS6. It's about the only thing I know how to use.

I don't see that filter in my PS CC version.
