I have a light glare on the water pitcher from my softbox. I have Lightroom and don't know if there is a tool on there to help fade the glare so it is not distracting. I do have Elements 13 but I am not very familiar with it. Any suggestions would be very appreciated...please help! One more thing, would you crop the bottom of the photo.
Absolutely delightful shot! So, so charming.
I'm not that good with pp to attempt the glare. But I do think a little trim off the bottom is a good idea, especially where the right side and top are closely cropped.
Agreed! I cropped it and like it better. Actually, a bit more exposure too might help.

Can you reshoot with a polarizer filter? That would probably cut or eliminate the glare.

I didn't think about a polarizer filter. But I am using a slow kit lens right now and I don't think I can up the ISO or slow down the shutter speed below 80 with a cat and I am hand holding the camera, ha! I have a lot of double whammys going on.
A little better? I still would like to really diminish that reflection in the water pitcher.

I've taken a stab at this for you. I increased the exposure, judiciously added gradient filters, decreased the glare of the softbox on the rim of the bowl and on the pitcher, enhanced the colors of the ceramics, sharpened things a bit, fiddled with brightness, contrast and levels, cropped it a might as you asked, and brought out some of the details of her sweet face.
I hope you find all this appealing.

I forgot to store original so you can download it.

This is actually a more refined edit. I've softened the reflection on the pitcher still further and brightened her eyes just a bit.
I somehow feel that you don't want to get rid of the reflection entirely since it no longer seems natural -- at least to me.
I welcome your thoughts about all this.
I really like how you brought out the color in the bowl. I used a bit of gradient filter in the second try example but yours came out much nicer, Thank you!

This last version removed almost all of the reflection: You decide which you prefer.
Thanks for letting me kibitz
I like the bowl and pitcher but the cat seems to jet black and unnatural unless that is my monitor, ha...
Wow, I was amazed at how you totally reduced the glare on the pitcher. Can you give me advice on how to get that glare out?

Sure, although I suggest a phone conversation. It is a bit more involved than a simple chat here on HedgeHog. Send me a private message and I'll share my phone number.
Since you mentioned you thought the kitty was a bit too black, I've added a bit more light to her and removed the remaining glare from the barrel of the pitcher coming from what might be a window shining in from the left part of your frame.
I hope all this has helped.
