I like it! I have a fondness for B/W and IR photos.

I was considering buying an IR filter for my current lenses (62mm), and this looks like a good candidate.

Make sure your camera can see IR.
Cheap filter, I ordered it from China; it works pretty good.

I hadn't thoguht about that with this Nikon. I'm not going to tinker with it, so I'll use a Point & Shoot camera we had, that wasn't being used now. (I opened it up, and removed the IR reject filter directly in front of the sensor (not attached to it!))
14mp, so it has enough pixel density, I think, to do this type stuff.

To determine if your camera can see IR simply take a picture of a remote control being used while pointed at your camera.
