Ant Mimic Spider ?....

Washed our cars over the weekend & then spotted this small jumper laying strands across the hood of my car.... Thought at first that it was an ant till I looked at it through the viewfinder...

Nice shot, Scott. I've never run across this particular species, though I've collected dozens of species of spider ant mimics.

this one is really interesting.

My theory is that they use the reflections to groom themselves. Scott must keep his bonnet very clean.

Nice shot. It looks like a cotie from the game with the same name. Legs are almost identical.

I will never admit to being old enough to have had one of those toys. Or a Mr. Potato Head when they used real potatoes.
