Nice captures. The images appear to NOT be photographed through a macro lens, but actually via a long prime lens.
What glass are you using? Do you always use ambient sunlight, or occasional speedlight?

Thank you. The Swallowtail and Skipper were taken with a Canon 100-400 zoom set at 400mm. The Painted Lady was shot with a Canon 300mm f/4 + 1.4 teleconverter. These were all taken without flash, which I sometimes use.
