I took the plunge and talked dear hubby into letting me get a Nikon D7200. Did I NEED one?? No, probably not. Did I WANT one. Yep, sure did. So far, I'm really liking it a lot, I seem to have better luck getting sharper shots with it for whatever reason. These are no pp except for cropped a little on one.

I had (still have) a D7K. Originally hubby said if I got a new one I should get rid of the old one. Now, I've got him convinced that I really should keep it for a back up. It just seems like I had to do more in post than I have so far with this one. Maybe I'll send it in to Nikon to have it gone over to make sure everything is as it should be. Or just be happy that I like the new one better.

Very nice pictures and thanks for sharing. I'm glad your 'wants' overcame your 'needs', in this case also. ;-) Keep up the good work.

I love the bleeding hearts. My mother and aunt had them in their backyards. Don't see many around anymore.

Thanks! I've got a trip planned this weekend, train trip where they have period dressed characters "attempt to rob the train", then 2 hours to tour Metamora, IN, then ride back. I figure that'll give me a nice opportunity to put it to use. I'm really liking it so far.

Thanks for looking and the kind comments. I've held off temptation for a few weeks, then just couldn't stand it anymore. GAS won.

I really like them too. This is the only red one I have, I have 3 pink ones that are huge, I've had them for many years. I had a white one too, but unfortunately I think it didn't survive the winter.
