Need Photoshop Bridge Help

For some reason the main preview image in Photoshop's Bridge is not centered but instead is located all the way to the right side of the screen (see attached view). How does one re-center the preview image. Thanks!

you can adjust the 3 window areas. see the verticle bar next to content...put your curser there and you can resize. slide that window way over to the right. your hidding a third window (in the center) called content. preview belongs on the right side.the slider down at the bottom, right of center, can be moved too the right to enlarge the images.

From you image above, it appears as though not only is the image offset, but the preview pane as well. I can just barely see the little hash marks on the adjustment bar below your image.

Try nikod7's idea. I tried to recreate you problem but cannot move an image to that position. Whenever I try, it moves smoothly and stays centered no matter how small or large I make it.

Although, nikod7, I had mine open and it looked like plieber's view in his post, only I had my image centered. I think his image is in the content view, just oddly over to the right. Where would it be otherwise?

Also, if it's an anomaly, try this:
Press and hold the Ctrl key while starting Adobe Bridge.
In the Reset Settings dialog box, select
Reset Standard Workspaces Returns all workspaces to their factory default configurations.
Click OK.

Of course, I don't know if it is your situation, but it can't hurt.

I can't make mine do what yours is doing. But I have a suggestion for you. I have my window set to Essentials view where your is set to filmstrip. It shows all pictures in a folder with metadata to the right. If you left click on one pic and hit the space bar you get a full screen view of the pic. If you then hit the left mouse button it goes to 100% view. Just the way I like to use Bridge. If you double click on the pic in thumnail view it opens in PS. When you minimize to entire window does it show all the pic. It might be a wide screen view on the monitor that is set to letterbox?

I use Bridge CS5 and I am also unable to duplicate plieber's problem when I switch to filmstrip view. All my previews center. Maybe try toggling between the various views and then back to filmstrip. Does this problem exist on all images previewed?

Hi Plieber,
I was looking at your bridge problem again, I now see your content area is below the preview, so my first suggestion was not correct.
I'm wondering what those 3 icons are above the tool bar on the right side. they are brownish in color and the one on the right is lit up.
also it appears as if you are viewing pictures from the desktop and your dcim folder is open.
Can you explain exactly whats open and how you got there?
also if you figure it out let us know, even if you think it was a dumb mistake in case it happens to us we can fix it.

Hi Plieber, br I was looking at your bridge probl... (show quote)

I believe the 3 icons you are seeing are the minimize, maximize, and close buttons.

It appears that the files you are viewing are directly from your flash card which should not make a difference, but try moving the photos to a folder on your computer and see if the problem still exists.

Before doing that click on Window>Workspace>Reset Standard Workspaces and see if that fixes the problem.
