Great wolf eyes! Your fly is a syrphid fly, or flower or hover fly (or a very close and hairy relative) -- the closed wing cells and the vein with a dip in it that you show so very well, and the spurious vein (the thin vein above the regular vein behind the one with the dip in it)all identify this large family. More great shots.
