The are the first pictures that I have ever submitted to anything. I have broad shoulders, so let me know what you think.

If you seek true C&C, then check the box marked (store original), so we can enlarge your images for critical viewing, and even a little PP to show you possible improvements.

Sounds like good advice, thanks. It looks like my Picasa fixes didn't follow the pictures when uploaded, phooey.

I like your #2 and #3, tommo13, even though they make me shiver! Not too used to cold here in Vegas!
My only problem with #1: its kind of hard to really tell what it's all about...but it still makes me shiver just like the other two!
Keep 'em comin', buddy, we don't see enough Sony photos here!

Welcome to UHH. Good catch on #2 and #3. #1 looks a little dark to me. Thanks

When you are done with Picasa fixes...use the save as...upper left corner of screen under file.....

Wow, what a great suggestion - save your work! Duh, why didn't I think of that. And to think that I am computer literate.

Thanks ever so much.

Welcome! I like them all, but #1 looks like the White balance is off or could use some levels tweking.

Welcome to UHH I like #2 and #3. Cant tell what exactly #1 is. The only suggestion I have is to watch your horizons, as it seems a little tilted.

I tried to rework the first picture. It is the cab of the locomotive leading the train across the bridge. Taken will moving from my car prior to crossing the tracks. For some reason the train was stopped so I had plenty of time to take the other pictures. Now I am learning how to clean the up in Picasa.
