Mid April in the Canadian Rockies.
A few years back we were up in Seattle and we decided to extend the trip to Banff and on to Jasper expecting spring flowers along the road, didn't work out that way it was still winter there.
Nice shots. I really like 4
Some beautiful shots you have there. I especially like # 4.
As for it still being winter in mid Apruil you have to remember that those shots were all taken at between 6000 and 7000 feet altitude. Another month and you would have seen all the wildflowers you wanted. As well as the grizzlies out eating them.
Thank you very much for your comment.
Thank you very much. As we were there a few time before we didn't mind, we enjoyed it as we got to Jasper it also got warmer and no more snow.

Thank you very much Frodo, have a nice weekend my friend.
No.4 is particularly fine. Do you remember where that scene is located? I have driven Banff to Jasper (20 years ago) and do not remember it.

Thank you very much, # 4 is driving north before getting to the visitor center at the Columbia Glacier.

About as spectacular and eye-popping as photos can get! Number four stands out for me, incredibly scenic, but I could live with any number of these on my wall or desktop. Great work, Mike.
