This blonde was told that her car needed a quart of oil. A picture is worth a thousand words.

http://i.imgur.com/gpALGIH.gifIt's a good thing someone didn't tell her that the reason her engine wouldn't start is that it was starving for fuel.

Back in the day when we had service stations and I was a teen, the place I worked in an affluent city hired a snot-nosed kid whose Daddy thought he needed a job. After working there some time, I noticed that he was selling a lot of oil; almost every car he checked need a quart of oil. I decided to watch him to see if he was reading the dip stick correctly, only to find that he was checking the oil by taking off the oil filler cap and peering inside the valve cover, then not seeing any oil, would tell the driver they were a quart low.
Almost makes that blond look smart.
Can't blame the "new employee" for that. Take a look at owner/manager etc....
16 yrs of age... got a "sit" @ local Mobile station.. .. another experienced employee accompanied me to the gas island ... ...
First day: wash/wipe the front vehicle window....
Second day: How to open motor hood or "flip up side panels."
Third day: Discovery of "oil dip stick" on different makes/models of vehicles. Mobile station had large book with a ton of pictures... just for people like me.
-----
10 months later I became one of two managers...
Yah! I'm that old! ! !
I am glad I did not accidentally go to that service station.
