We are staying in a Lodge in the grounds of Cameron House for a week with rain forecast for most of the week!! We are adjacent to the golf course. We arrived in the rain on Sunday afternoon and when we looked out across the Loch on Monday morning, we were surprised to see this view. Dashed around all day in the sun, even went for a boat ride.......this morning no view only cloud.

Lots happening in Glasgow – starting with the new Transport Museum. Regular train service from Balloch. Further afield there's the iconic Falkirk Wheel + boat trips and the breath-taking Kelpies nearby at the Helix.

That float plane runs regular services from the Loch into the centre of Glasgow, landing on the River Clyde. It often over-flys my residential mooring some 10 miles downstream of the city.
