I saw this software advertised here and having nuthing better to do at the time I downlowded a trial. I was impressed within the first minute then wowed by the price $19.95 it has a lot of the features of Elements and Topaz and even some simple HDR. I bought it even though I have lightroom and elements. I will put up some pictures later today.

This is a great entry editor because it is very easy to use.

Is it a pirate put-together?

Smart Photo Editor. I got this a couple of weeks ago. Great program for the price. When you load your photo, you can see how it would look with modifications submitted by other users. If you don't like one of them, you can make your own changes.

This happens to me all the time. The Topic is way up top, out of sight.

Looks legit. Isn't this the company that makes Portrait Professional?

http://www.smartphotoeditor.com/

It is from a company in Europe.
Don't how good it is, but the concept of all users being part of a community that is sharing the effects they create is interesting. Just hope someone is filtering out the crap.

I use a program called FASTSTONE and it is great. It's free, and only asks for donations if you are professional. Give it a try, it also lets you work with RAW from NIKON.

You meant faststone.org
I've been using their image viewer for years and love it.

I use Smart Editor and yes I got it through the same folks that sell Portrait Professional. I like it but one thing I'm having a problem with and will be open to any suggestions is if you send in a photo of 1.35MBs it will come back in KBs which makes it impossible for printing of any size. Bigger size 3.5MBs and up are no problem but the smaller ones get degraded(if that's what you call it). Other than this(and it may be something I'm doing) I like the program but of course for the price it's not PS......
