I'm considering the Sony a6000 as a "walk around" camera & have been reading about the Sony 20mm pancake lens quality vs the Sigma 19mm Art Lens E mount that is not pancake. What I've read is that the Sigma is much sharper at the edges. My question: does this matter since the camera has an APS-C crop sensor? The Sony lens makes the camera truly pocketable. Thanks.
Look at the Dyxum lens ratings of both lenses, seems to be a tossup. If you really want pocketability then go with the Sony. I have the 19mm Sigma for my 6000 and really like it,sharp, good colors, calendar/postcard quality images.
Where do I find Dyxum. Never head of it.
Google Dyxum, it is a website for sony shooters and has a lens database and rating for any A and E mount lenses.
Check out DxOMark scores. They have rated both Primes and zooms for the a6000.
there is some photos from my sony alpha 330
Thanks a person who knows how to toast a bagel!
