For a while there I thought the spider was winning, but the bee got away.
It's hard to see in the photos, but the bee was putting on a pretty good fight.
This is the first documentation I have seen of a male orbweaver catching prey. They are damned small! Well done!

I don't know which to congratulate, the spider for making the catch or the bee for his tenacity to get away. I wish I could have seen this one in person.
