If Bruce is correct the GOP will earn my respect. What about it Gentlemen? Is Bruce right?

She then asked if he (Bruce Jenner) would ask GOP House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to “champion” LGBT rights.

“I would do that, yeah, in a heartbeat,” Jenner replied. “Why not? And I think they’d be very receptive to it.”

Just what are Bi-Sexual rights supposed to be? Also just what are the transgenders looking for?

Maybe Brucella should talk to some of the Log Cabin Republicans about the receptiveness of the GOP.

Marriage equality and anti-discrimination protection are a couple of items.

Which public restroom does a transgender use? Eeww, right?

BVM,

Bruce represents the 'best case scenario' for the LGBT community to bring their case to the public and start an open conversation. If either party tries to ignore it, they do so at their own political peril. Whether one likes it or not the steam is out of the kettle and it can not be silenced. The Ostrich approach will loose that party votes. In a tight race, those few votes can make the difference.

Why do I say he is a best case scenario?
1. The Decathlon is possibly the toughest event for one person to win. He earned a Gold Medal representing the USA.
2. He is/was a successful motivational speaker. He crafts words wisely.
3. He is a sympathetic persona even under the scrutiny of the Kardashian television show.
4. He is a father, a good father, not some low life.
5. He is conservative, reaching out for support. If the conservatives shy away, shun or worse defile his image, it will make them look heartless. That will satisfy only the most extreme in that group. The most extreme conservatives are out numbered by the LGBT community, their supporters, and good hearted people.

To answer your very last query, if she calls herself a woman, you can too.

I think you brought up this subject for the sole purpose of being able to call any who disagree "bigots". What Bruce wants to do, he should do - as long as nobody innocent gets hurt.

Just get the government out of the marriage business, how hard is that? Why do politics have to make things so complicated? Maybe dems like keeping the pot stirred, that's all I can figure.

As far as the rest of it????? If it hangs then he should be in the men's room, if she can't use a urinal then she should be in the women's room. But these simple thoughts are not enough for liberals, they are going to want taxpayers to pay for gender reassignment surgeries, force businesses to hire men who come to work dressed as women, no matter the disruption caused in both the workplace and the customer interface of the business... All Bullshit.

Good grief! So the office of, supposedly occupied by, the most powerful human on earth should be to advance the homosexual life style! No wonder we are the laughing stock of the world, and if we aren't, we should be!
