Look deep and observe our true origins.

Very awesome. Maybe someday we will understand how it all came to be. Fascinating to say the least and just to think that all that wonderment is only 6,000 years old and created in a day. lol

What amazes me is that the earth and heaven was created before there was light. So it was all created in the dark without seeing it.
Totally believable.

I think that many are still in that "dark" you mention. Of course our modern views indicate that was no light at all until 379,000 years after the Big Bang, when the cosmos cooled to the point that nuclei could capture electrons.

And yet the world is only 6,000 years old according to the those who take the Bible literally. LOL.

Hilarious indeed. I have a rounded glacier erratic in my front yard (granite) that was push from Canada during the last ice age. It weights about a thousand pounds and is hundreds of thousands of years old.

I am the furthest thing from an expert on the Bible but it seems to me that it essentially begins with the origins of the Hebrews....about 6,000 years ago. As for "Light" and "Dark" those could easily be metaphors...aka good/evil, etc.

The Bible, yes, a book of metaphors and superstitions. Always keeps one guessing.

It's also the book of Truth. There's actually quite a bit to be gained by studying it even if you don't believe. It contains some of our (Mankind's) oldest stories/history.

It's ok...you can stick with reading Shrillary's book "Hard Choices"....who do I screw over today? Oh such hard choices!

"There's actually quite a bit to be gained by studying it ....." (Your words). And that is why I read the Bible. It's a good history of how man thought thousands of years ago. Haven't you read my very, very many posts?

And now you were saying something about Shrillary's book, Hard Choices?

Bait you say? Not at all. Unlike you, I do not attempt to mislead others with superstitious belief. What I said above is scientific-theory-based, not out of the top of my head.

Bait (your word) is not what I posted nor was bait my intention, but you would like others to think so?

Look deep into space and you will see your origins or continue to believe in the dust-man-rib-woman scenario of the origin of man/woman as outlined in Genesis and keep a closed mind. This is NOT bait.

I've read some of your posts and they seem to cover a wide spectrum. It's not quite like ....say gnslngr whose every other word is "moron". His tend to be of a narrow spectrum. You aren't the resident Liberal cheerleader (donna) and I don't have you confused with a conservative. Beyond your fixation with all things related to evolution I don't believe I have a very good bead on you.

As for Madamme Clinton's book I encourage you to be the second person that buys it.

That Clinton woman is not my kind of lady, nor do I wish that she win in the next Presidential election. The Repubs or Independents better get a good one to go against her or she will be our next President. Simple as that. I see no really good Repub contenders at this time.

I am neither repub or demo or independent. I vote for anyone that I think is right for the times.
