Lightroom 5 and Samsung S5 Upload Help Needed

Hi:
I have the Sansung cell phone and would like to use the GPS coordinates recorded on the phone at a location to imbed into the photos I take with my Canon 50D at that location The 50D does not have GPS. I did a search on UHH and Google and did not find what I need.
The question is: What is the best way to upload a photo from the cell phone into the folder in LR with the photos I take with the 50D. I would then select the phone photo along with the others and synch the metadata.
Any advice or pointing me to some written material will be appreciated.
